Key Personnel

David HoehmannDavid Hoehmann - President

Mr. Hoehmann is the founder of High Ground Industrial (HGI). He has over 20 years of direct experience in the demolition, environmental and construction fields.  He is responsible for overall operations and budgeting of the company as its founder.  In his role, he oversees projects to assure proper resource allocation and performance.    Dave is also in charge of facilitating growth across the company.

Prior to HGI, Dave was President, and Principal Owner of True Green Industries, Inc. where had had worked for 20 years.  He oversaw all of the company's business units and managed day-to-day operations and annual budgets.  In this capacity he worked directly with major insurance companies, land owners and developers.  Additionally, he handled large accounts relating to site management, remediation and cost recovery. Dave's additional experience has included site work, construction, and emergency response services of hundreds of disaster events at sites throughout the Northeast.  

He is a member of the National Demolition Association, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce and Bergen County Business Association.  He maintains OSHA 30 and Hazwopper 40 certifications, a NYS Asbestos Supervisors License and is an instructor of aerial lift operations.

A graduate of the University of Texas, he holds a BA in Finance.  Dave played football at UT and Rugby for Old Blue Rugby NYC where he was a 2006 inductee to the Rugby Hall of Fame.

Jim DuBroffJim Du Broff - Director of Operations

Mr. Du Broff is a founder of High Ground Industrial (HGI). He has over 30 years of direct experience in the demolition, environmental and construction fields.  He is responsible for direct project operations to insure scheduling and quality at all times.

Prior to HGI, Jim was President of Site Work Services, Inc. He oversaw all of the company's business and managed day-to-day operations. Jim's additional experience consists of demolition, site work, construction, and remediation services, including numerous high profile soil and tank removal projects..  

He is a member of the National Demolition Association, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce and Bergen County Business Association.  He maintains OSHA 30 and Hazwopper 40 certifications, a NYS Asbestos Supervisors License and is an instructor of aerial lift operations.

Mark HaynesMark A. Haynes – President of Environmental Services

Mark has been a proven leader in the environmental consulting and services arena with over 24 years of experience.  After graduating from Springfield College with a BS in Environmental Health and Technology, he joined Environmental Compliance Services, Inc.  Over the next 20 years, he worked his way from an Environmental Technician to ultimately the President and CEO of the company.   Previous to Highground, Mark was the COO of TMC Services, Inc. during which he was responsible for day to day operations and opening three new Service Centers.  He was also responsible for orchestrating mobilization into NYC and Metro NJ to respond to the Sandy aftermath. 

At Highground, he has developed Environmental Services Division within the company which previously focused solely on Demolition and Earthwork.  The Environmental Services group offers the abatement of Regulated Building Materials, AST/UST decommissioning services, contaminated soils remediation, transportation and disposal services, and specialty environmental contacting involving the handling of oil and hazardous materials.

As President of the Environmental Services, he is responsible for Business Development, Project Estimating, and Project Administration.  Works side by side with the other company services and subcontractors to provide a turnkey approach to each project.
